What makes Ruel Foundation Different to other NZ Children's Charities?

New Zealand boasts a number of kids charity organisations that help raise funds and awareness for a multitude of causes. Trying to decide which one to support can be a difficult task for some people.

Depending on your past and what you are passionate about, you may choose to sponsor a child in New Zealand with disabilities or illness, or those suffering from poverty or abuse. Perhaps you might like to help raise funds for children in desperate need of medical aid. Whichever cause it may be, there are NZ kids charities welcoming your generosity.

Philippines

The Philippines has an estimated population of ninety seven million people living on two thousand of the seven thousand islands that make up the nations land area. In spite of government efforts, 2013 statistics estimate that approximately 25% of the population live below the poverty level.

This puts a huge pressure on Government healthcare resources to cope with the healthcare needs of many especially children. The Ruel Foundation, in partnership with the Philippine government has established a four phased programme in the nation consisting of;
